In retrospect, I should have suspected that something like this would happen because of Allura's reason for choosing Pidge in The Feud. Still, because it's an American TV-Y7 show I pushed it to the back of my mind because I thought that even if something like it happened they'd either pull a "love conquers all and she physically returns to them by the end" or they'd pull an Iron Giant. If I want to stretch it, they really did pull an Iron Giant, with how the lions left in the direction of the Allura nebula.
I just don't like how Allura had to help Honerva in what she ultimately destroyed in the first place. This was all on Honerva, for goodness sake.
