I agree completely. Also, I think that was part of a reason it's stayed around so long- how many people that don't know anything else about the show can tell you that the main characters are Captain Kirk and Spock?
And, sadly, I can totally believe that the TOS producers would be like that. The series was back in the 60s, and the Kirk/Uhura kiss was the first biracial kiss on television ever. Thats telling. =/
And yeah... Enterprise? From the little I've seen and what I've heard, the less said about it the better. XD That's very interesting, though, the differences between the cast of the Enterprise and the others.. I wonder if that contributed to its failure at all?
