I've seen single-character comms around for most of the characters, like Ichigo and Rukia. But yeah, Renji not having one kind of surprises me. I agree about the crazy amount of ship comms. It's the reason I opened up senkaimon, because aside from Bleachness (which makes the skin crawl of most IchiHime fans I run into), I didn't think any comm for actual discussion of the show existed.
Oh, yes, conflict indeed. Just as planned XD I ship RenRuki too, BTW. I swear in the anime that Rukia has a way different speaking manner/demeanor with Renji than just about everyone else in the few scenes they share together after SS. And I would be in Heaven if KT pulled a RenRukiIchi triangle on us, because I'd be a winnar either way. God knows there hasn't been a decent one on any daytime soap opera I watch in years. Not I watch daytime TV. Lol
You know, I was gonna try to make this an epic multi-chapter story, but now that you've mentioned the idea of Renji visiting the Kurosaki household, I realize what little I did write on that situation could easily be the fic itself instead of just one part of it. It'll be more concise and I could still do what I wanted with the pairing, which was to make a case on how two character that have never interacted in canon could still work with the right writing.
