So, Tumblr...

How do I use it?
No,I don't plan to leave LJ completely, but given that announcement that is all but bribing members to return (apparently, a lot of people got fucked over and left three years ago, but I don't know all the details), I would like another fandom-friendly place where I can post somewhere other than the FB page with my real name on it.
So far, it seems one can only post to their own account, and not to communities. God, this must be what my parents feel like every time they use a computer or buy a new cell phone. :(
ETA: I hope
nenya85 sees this, as she's one of the few remaining folks on my feed that still posts here to use tumblr

Date: 2015-04-19 01:28 am (UTC)Well,I have seen some kicks fanart over there on the occasions I've looked up, so I'll keep it around for that if nothing else.
I have read up on the debacle that happened a few years back that seems like a lot of paid users came here to find their accounts deleted for no reason and the staff was pimping ONTD while slagging off the fandom that made this place what it is. The only community on my flist with consistent activity is Fanfic Rants (Although the dropoff there has as much to do with their nasty moderation and hive mind mentality as anything else). It's unfortunate.
